"i am the captain of my shipi am the master of my soul"
Invictus by William Ernest Henley
Writing is not my forte.
I prefer to read than write because i know my grammar teacher will banish me on the face of the earth! But since its a course requirement, let me give it a shot. (finger crossed)
Studying and living alone, far from my home is not new to me. I had my fair share of happy and enjoyable moments as well as a lot of reflecting and soul searching. I admit i had also my dose of stupidity (hihihi!)
Iloilo City - home of gentle people and where modern world meets the ancient past. I am fond of going around the metro wearing my fearless shoes
CPU had taught me to be the best that i can be, to connect more with people of different ethnicity, to care more my health, to savor my pallet with gusto, to read more books and to pray harder.
MLIS 601 class taught me to listened more rather than be listened as, to understood rather be understand, to be a leader rather than a manager and last on my list to celebrate differences!
Almost five months now and i am stil thirsting for more...
May the Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer guide me through
